Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied roving role across Central London?

GH Engage are currently recruiting for a Roving Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to cover a portfolio of commercial sites across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated engineer who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and working across multiple buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel between sites predominantly on foot, with occasional use of company van.
• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Maintenance on lighting (general & emergency), power supplies, circuits, and control panels.
• Manage your workload effectively via PDA, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed SLAs.
• Carry out weekly compliance checks including fire alarm testing and L8 water hygiene tasks (tap temperature monitoring, flushing, etc.).
• Undertake general mechanical and fabric maintenance as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and building managers.
• Attend reactive breakdowns and carry out efficient fault finding.

Package:

• -40,000 per annum
• Travel Card (Zones 1-3)
• Van & fuel card
• On call stand-by allowance; -50/week
• Monday to Friday working hours
• Stable commercial portfolio
• Opportunity to work autonomously across multiple Central London sites

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience within commercial building maintenance environments.
• Strong fault-finding ability and client-facing skills.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
