In this role, you will be responsible for the development, integration and maintenance of software and electrical systems across our ROV platforms. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to design, test, and refine control systems, sensor interfaces and hardware integrations for tools used in variety of applications in demanding subsea environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C/C++ and Linux. Experience with Git and a front-end/UI framework (such as QML/Qt) for building operator interfaces is highly desirable. Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 is desirable. Liaise daily with the Lead Software/Electronic Engineer on project activities. Design and develop software and electrical systems for ROVs, including control loops, sensor interfaces, communication links, and hardware integration. Implement and maintain end to end software solutions for control systems, data acquisition, and visualization.
