In this role you will be ensuring the journey or delivery is as fast, cost effective and safe as possible, while minimizing fuel consumption, time and costs. Working Hours: 22.00pm to 06.30am Sunday to Friday with the flexibility to work additional hours in peak periods when required. Salary - up to 16.34 per hour Key responsibilities Plan and analyse delivery routes using computer-based planning systems, including Maxoptra. Ensure vehicle utilisation meets KPI targets and supports agreed service levels. Adding overnight orders to the correct vehicles and delivery sequences. Review new delivery points and existing routes for efficiencies and change routes where appropriate Co-ordinate daily van loading and support yard supervision to ensure vehicles are loaded accurately and on time. Booking of customer deliveries Provide written handovers daily to dispatch and warehouse teams Work with the Despatch Manager, Returns, Warehouse and customer services teams to ensure processes are completed on time.
