Job Title: Temporary Team Manager - Disability/Autism Team
Location: Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Riverside House, Main Street, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S60 1AE
Pay Rate: -40 per hour (Umbrella)
Working Hours: Full-time, 3 days on-site

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Team Manager to join the Disability/Autism Team at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. This is a leadership role within Adult Social Care, providing guidance and oversight to a team supporting adults with disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Disability/Autism team, ensuring high-quality care and support

• Oversee assessments, care planning, and service delivery

• Support staff development, performance management, and team motivation

• Ensure compliance with statutory duties, safeguarding, and local policies

• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to provide holistic support

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing a team within a Disability/Autism service

• Strong knowledge of adult social care legislation, including the Care Act

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Ability to work on-site in Rotherham for 3 days per week
