Room Leader/Third in Charge

We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Nursery Room Leader / Third in Charge to join a welcoming Early Years setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident childcare professional looking to take on greater leadership responsibilities whilst remaining actively involved in children''s learning and development. The position offers 40 hours per week on a term-time-only basis, providing an attractive work-life balance with school holidays off. This opportunity would suit an established Room Leader or a strong Senior Early Years Practitioner looking to progress into a more senior position within nursery management. You will be: Taking responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of the nursery room Leading, supporting and motivating the room team to maintain high standards of care and education Assisting the nursery management team with daily operations and staff deployment Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive Monitoring children''s individual learning, development and wellbeing Acting as a key person and maintaining positive relationships with children and their families Completing observations and assessments to support children''s progress Supporting colleagues through mentoring, guidance and professional development Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and nursery ..... full job details .....
