Key Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of care and education within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff in their daily duties
• Deploy staff to ensure standards are maintained
• Oversee key person procedures and allocate children to key carers appropriately
• Ensure practice meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional feedback to parents and carers
• Build positive working relationships with staff and families
• Promote the nursery to current and prospective families

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education
