This role is ideal for an experienced roofer looking to move away from site work into a stable, permanent role, or for an existing tutor wanting to continue delivering trade-based training.The role involves delivering practical and classroom-based training, assessing learner progress, and supporting apprentices through to successful completion of their programme.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver practical and theory-based roofing training to apprenticesDemonstrate correct methods, safe working practices, and industry standardsAssess learner work and maintain accurate training and progress recordsSupport apprentices through their programme and end-point assessmentWork with employers to monitor learner progressMaintain a safe, organised workshop and classroom environmentComplete required paperwork and compliance documentationMonitor attendance and learner welfare, including safeguarding concernsKeep industry knowledge up to date and complete CPDRoofing Areas CoveredSlate and Tile RoofingSetting out, measuring, cutting materialsFelting and batteningMortar workLeadwork, valleys, fasciasFlat RoofingMeasuring and cutting materialsFelting and batteningTorch-on systemsLiquid waterproofing systemsEssential RequirementsMinimum 5 years'' experience in roofingExperience in ..... full job details .....
