      <description>Location: Hampshire | Salary: &amp;pound;36000/annum &amp;pound;36000 plus van, uniform and fuel card | Type: Permanent | Workshop Recruitment are looking for an experienced roofer, our client operates within reactive maintenance within social housing.  The key activities you will undertake in this role will be a wide variety of roofing repairs at occupied homes and empty properties. The work will include; pitch, and flat roof repairs including replacement of tiles, felt, eave trays, lead repairs/replacement, mineral sheet repairs/replacement (torch on), and non-licenced asbestos removal (where full training will be given).  KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS    NVQ level 2-3 in roofing or equivalent.  A DBS/Criminal Background check will be completed prior to employment starting  2 – 5 yrs. experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment.  Ability to work at height.  Be able to demonstrate you are a competent tradesperson and have the tools to do the work.  Have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the building and maintenance industry working on historic / listed buildings.
