We are hiring for a Roofer with proven experience in roofing installation and maintenance on both residential and commercial projects in the [Insert location] area. This is a varied role working on a range of new build and refurbishment projects, and you will be using your trade skills to deliver high-quality finishes on all jobs.
Duties of a Roofer
In this role you will be working in the roofing team to deliver safe, durable and aesthetically pleasing results. Reporting to the site manager, you will be responsible for:
Installing and repairing pitched and flat roofs.
Replacing damaged tiles, slates, and roofing materials.
Applying waterproofing treatments and ensuring weatherproof finishes.
Working with a variety of materials such as slate, tile, felt, and lead.
Following all site safety protocols and maintaining a tidy work area.
Skills and experience of a Roofer
As a Roofer, you need to have experience with:
Roofing installation and repairs across residential and/or commercial properties.
Working safely at heights and using the appropriate equipment.
It would be beneficial to the Roofer role if you also had:
A valid CSCS card.
Working knowledge of different roofing materials and techniques.
Your own basic tools.
