This is one of the industries most exciting projects to be involved in, helping manufacture London''s newest tube fleet. This will involve working out of a brand new state-of-the-art facility purpose built for this project!Position Summary:As a mechanical assembler, you will be experienced working in a safe manner, adhering to Siemens 4 steps to zero harm. You will be carrying out assembly tasks on mechanical parts, components, assemblies/sub-assemblies. Responsibilities Include: Mounting of components, units or pre-assemblies Assembly of mechanical components Preparation work, drilling, grinding and riveting Pipe fitting/bonding Documentation of activities (Glass or Paper systems) Utilising pneumatic, hydraulic and other fitting systems Working closely to production instructions including all correct tooling Conduct regular quality, sight and functionality tests Person Profile: We are ideally looking for someone with an appropriate level 3 mechanical qualification Experience ..... full job details .....
