Job Title: Roller Operative - EarthworksLocation: DarlingtonPay Rate: 21.00 per hour (CIS)We are currently seeking an experienced Roller Operative to join a major earthworks project based in Darlington.Key Responsibilities:Operate ride-on rollers for soil compaction, sub-base preparation, and general earthworks across the site.Work closely with groundworkers and excavator operators to ensure specified levels and compaction densities are achieved.Perform daily pre-start checks, basic maintenance, and ensure all plant machinery is operated safely.Adhere strictly to site health and safety standards and risk assessments.Requirements:Valid CPCS or NPORS card (Ride-on Roller endorsement essential).Proven experience working on large-scale earthworks or groundworks projects.Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, safety boots).Valid CIS registration.Strong reliability, work ethic, and ability to work effectively within a team.Offer:Rate: 21.00/hr (CIS)Start Date: ImmediateLocation: DarlingtonTo Apply:Send your CV or email: with your availability and references to secure your spot.
