Robotics Software Engineer - Calibration Tooling (Contract)Location: London (Hybrid - 1 day per week) or Germany (Hybrid - 1 day per week)Rate: Up to £750 per day Inside IR35Contract: Initial 6 monthsAn exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading autonomous vehicle technology company looking for an experienced Robotics Software Engineer to support the development of engineering tooling used across robotics calibration systems.This role is focused on building the software that enables robotics engineers to debug, investigate and understand calibration behaviour across complex autonomous systems. Rather than developing new robotics algorithms, you''ll create the tooling that supports diagnostics, visualisation, reporting and root cause analysis of existing calibration pipelines.ResponsibilitiesDevelop Python-based engineering tools to support calibration debugging and diagnostics.Build visualisation and reporting solutions to help engineers investigate calibration outputs and identify anomalies.Design tooling that enables efficient triage of issues across robotics and autonomous vehicle systems.Analyse logs, telemetry and algorithm outputs to support root cause investigations.Work closely with robotics engineers to understand technical challenges and develop practical software solutions.Integrate tooling into wider engineering workflows and Back End systems where appropriate.Produce clear documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge transfer.Essential ..... full job details .....
