About the Role
The Robotics Software Engineer in Didcot will refine industrial robot applications using the Robot Operating System to achieve full autonomy. This permanent role, with a salary of £45,000 to £55,000, combines research, commercial and academic collaboration, and technology scouting to develop, verify, and validate new applications. Key skills include robotic manipulation, sensing, programming with C++ and Python, plus virtual environment, simulation, or emulator development. Knowledge of future robotic technologies and the pathway from academic research to viable products is essential. The position also involves contributing to R&D consortium proposals and successful delivery.
