Specializing in bespoke automation, robotics integration, and special purpose machinery, this company is seeking a Robotics and Controls Engineer who is hands-on, proactive, and aligned with a high-integrity, high-commitment team culture.Robotics and Controls Engineer Responsibilities Designing and programming PLC, HMI/touchscreen, network and SCADA systems from scratchDesigning, programming and integrating industrial robotic solutions (FANUC ideally but notessential) Work collaboratively on bespoke automation and robotic integration projects.Developing control architectures and functional solutions in collaboration with mechanical and electrical design teamsPerform in-house build and test activities, with periodic travel for commissioning and support (UK and North America).Engage fully in a supportive, high-functioning team environment with a strong "make it happen" mindset.Robotics and Controls Engineer Requirements Be able to write complex software from scratch for Allen Bradley Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal.Be able design/ programme/ integrate industrial robotic solutions, such as and ideally FANUCComfortable with factory-based work - must live within a realistic commuting distance of Gloucestershire.Industrial control systems and ..... full job details .....
