Position: Robot Welding TechnicianLocation: West BromwichSalary: £40,000 DOEHours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12.30pm on FridayBennett and Game are currently partnering with a specialist Metal pressing and fabrication company who are actively seeking a proven Welding Technician to join their West Bromwich location.Our client has over 70 years heritage and are currently expanding in various areas of their business due to continued contract wins, continued investment into their staff, facilities and specialist machines.Robot Welding Position OverviewSupport production in setting up manual welding machines both spot and projection.Conduct changeovers and set ups on manual spot and projection welding machines.Conduct jig and program changes on c02 and Spot-welding robot cells as production requires and problem solve any issues that arise.Support production in solving Problems / Breakdowns in a Professional manor to ensure production is back up and running ASAF).Undertake the programming of new jobs that need to go through the camera poke yoke system around the business.Responsible for the upkeep of the machines in the areas you are working in and reporting any issues to the Engineering Director as soon as they occur.Manufacture and repair welding fixtures, using the toolroom equipment when required.Robot Welding Position RequirementsKnowledge of Press work.Knowledge of c02 weldingKnowledge of spot and projection welding.Knowledge of robot programming (Fanuc ..... full job details .....
