Due to growth they require Robot Technicians to work from their County Durham facility on a long-term contract basis which may lead to permanent employment.   The Role   To provide technical expertise, programming and support for all robotic-related activities for the facility.  A Robot Technician within the Tooling & Robotics department is responsible for the day-to-day front-line maintenance and programming duties for 20 Robotic weld & paint cells as well as support Robotic related activities, operator support and training.    Job Duties Include but not limited to:    Provide day-to-day technical support for robotic welding cells (ABB, Cloos, FANUC) Troubleshoot and resolve faults on robotic welding systems, fixtures, and associated equipment Carry out robot programming, touch-ups, and optimisation of weld programs to maintain quality and efficiency Support production operators with technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime Deliver training and guidance to operators on correct use of robotic welding equipment Monitor weld quality and implement continuous improvements to processes and cyc...
