      <description>Location: Bedford | Salary: 48000.00-48000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Robot and Automation Engineer  48,000 - 55,000 per year Full-time, Permanent We are looking for an experienced Robot and Automation Engineer to join a skilled engineering team delivering robotic and automated assembly solutions for automotive and industrial projects. This is a hands-on role covering robot programming, offline simulation, automation setup, commissioning and customer-site installation. Key responsibilities  Program, set up and commission industrial robots and automation equipment. Create offline robot programs and support simulated layouts. Integrate hardware including weld equipment, vision systems, sealant and gluing systems. Support build, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and handover.  About you  Experience with industrial robot programming, ideally ABB and/or Fanuc. Confident with robot setup, EIO programming and hardware integration. Experience in automated assembly environments. Kuka, Yaskawa or Siemens TIA Portal experience would be advantageous.
