Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable Civil Roadside Operative to support roadside and civil engineering works across Scotland. The role mainly involves assisting with the installation and handling of road signage, barriers, and traffic management equipment, as well as supporting site teams with general duties.







Key Responsibilities

  • Install, position, and remove roadside signage, barriers, cones, and traffic management equipment

  • Transport and handle tools, materials, and signage for roadside works

  • Assist roadside and civil engineering crews with daily site operations

  • Load and unload equipment and materials

  • Follow all site health and safety procedures, particularly when working near live traffic







Requirements

  • Valid UK Driving Licence

  • CSCS Card (required)

  • Experience in roadside works, traffic management, or construction preferred

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions







Additional Conditions

  • Must pass a Drug and Alcohol Test

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
