Roadfreight Operator

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Roadfreight Operator for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Egham area.Role DescriptionThe Road Freight Operator will manage day-to-day road freight operations, including arranging imports and exports, booking transport, and coordinating collections and deliveries with carriers, clients, and partners. Responsibilities:-Preparing and checking documentationMonitoring shipmentsCustoms entriesResolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and service standards. Maintaining clear communication with customers, providing updates, handling queries and service issuesSupporting the sales and operations teams with quotations and rate requests. Update internal systems accuratelyQualificationsProven customer service skills, with the ability to manage queries, resolve issues, and build long-term client relationships.Hands-on experience in road freight operations, with a good understanding of freight processes and logistics workflows.Customs entriesKnowledge of import procedures, including documentation, customs requirements, and regulatory compliance.As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
