The Role As a Road Freight Operator, you will be responsible for managing road freight shipments across the UK and Europe, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for customers from booking through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating UK and European road freight shipments
• Managing full load (FTL) and groupage movements
• Liaising with customers, carriers, and overseas partners
• Obtaining and negotiating freight rates
• Monitoring shipments and resolving operational issues
• Completing all relevant transport and customs documentation
• Ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations
• Providing exceptional customer service throughout the shipment process
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

What We''re Looking For?

• Previous experience within Road Freight Operations or Freight Forwarding
• Knowledge of UK and European road freight movements
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
• Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
• Experience with customs procedures would be advantageous
• Positive attitude and team-player mentality
