Road Freight Operator (Import and Export)Location: Leeds, UKPosition Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the Role On behalf of a leading logistics provider, we are seeking an experienced Road Freight Operator to join their team in Leeds. This role involves executing day-to-day international road freight movements across Europe, managing both import and export shipments, and maintaining high standards of service for a global client base.Key ResponsibilitiesArrange and manage international road freight shipments, including groupage, part-load, and full-load movements.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing accurate tracking updates and handling transport quotes.Coordinate with European partners, hauliers, and drivers to optimize routes and ensure on-time delivery.Complete relevant customs documentation and transit forms required for European road movements.What We Are Looking For1-2 years of proven experience within international road freight forwarding (import, export, or multimodal).Strong understanding of European road transport regulations and driver scheduling.Familiarity with freight management systems and post-Brexit customs procedures for EU trade.Ability to work from the client''s Leeds office.What the Client OffersCompetitive salary dependent on experience.Clear pathways for professional development and career progression.A structured and supportive team environment. ..... full job details .....
