Location: Selby
Salary: -37,000 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

A growing freight and logistics company based in Selby is seeking an experienced Road Freight Coordinator to join their busy operations team. This is a permanent full-time position offering stable weekday hours and excellent long-term career prospects within the transport and freight forwarding sector.

• Coordinating UK and European road freight movements
• Managing collections, deliveries, and shipment schedules
• Liaising with drivers, hauliers, warehouses, and customers
• Preparing transport and customs documentation
• Tracking shipments and resolving operational issues
• Providing shipment updates and customer support
• Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company procedures

• Previous experience within road freight, transport, or logistics
• Good understanding of UK and European haulage operations
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Customs knowledge advantageous but not essential
• Competent with Microsoft Office and freight systems
