We''re working with an award-winning, employee-owned freight forwarding group that is continuing to grow its road freight operation. They''re looking for an experienced Road Freight Operator / Road Freight Coordinator who understands the full shipment lifecycle - from initial quotation through to final delivery - and enjoys working in a busy, commercially focused environment. This is a hands-on role within a growing team, so it would suit someone who is energetic, commercially aware and enjoys taking ownership rather than simply processing shipments. What will you be doing?You''ll take responsibility for the full operational lifecycle of road freight movements, including:Managing import and export road freight shipments from quotation through to deliveryArranging and coordinating groupage, LTL and FTL movementsWorking with subcontractors and transport partners to secure the right solutionsMonitoring shipments and proactively dealing with any issues or delaysLiaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams throughout the shipment lifecyclePreparing quotations and identifying commercially viable solutions What are we looking for?The key ..... full job details .....
