The main focus of the role will be European road freight forwarding, managing shipments from booking through to delivery and working closely with customers, hauliers and overseas partners. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within European transport, road freight or freight forwarding. However, candidates with a strong UK transport background who demonstrate the aptitude, ambition and willingness to develop their knowledge of European transport will also be considered. Alongside the freight forwarding responsibilities, approximately 30% of the role will involve UK warehousing and distribution within the company''s 8,000 sq ft warehouse facility.
