Risk ManagerThe role involves supporting the development, implementation, and embedding of a comprehensive risk management framework and culture across MRSG/GSI4, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities include:Supporting the Head of Risk Management in executing the risk management strategy and embedding the framework across all entities, including international distribution centers and syndicates.Implementing risk management activities such as risk assessments, event management, and reporting.Providing risk review and advice to the business, representing a second line of defense.Monitoring risks and controls, maintaining risk registers, and supporting risk appetite measures.Managing risk event processes and conducting thematic risk assessments.Supporting risk reporting to governance bodies and leading risk training initiatives.Participating in projects and activities related to risk management.Supporting departmental activities, including Lloyd''s oversight and internal model validation.

General responsibilities include promoting risk management culture, reviewing frameworks, and supporting conduct and stakeholder engagement.

Knowledge and skills required:Proven risk management or audit experience with relevant qualifications.Deep understanding of the insurance industry, especially Lloyd''s or general insurance markets.Excellent reporting skills and ability to challenge at all levels.Knowledge of Solvency II and Lloyd''s market is advantageous.Educational qualifications, such as a university degree or professional certification.
