Risk Engineer
OverviewAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Risk Engineer to support the delivery of major rail infrastructure programmes. You will play a key role in the development, management, and assurance of project risk across complex, high-value portfolios, working closely with senior stakeholders and delivery teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and manage project and programme risk registers in line with rail standardsLead quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, including QRA and scenario analysisSupport change control processes, ensuring risks associated with change are identified, assessed, and mitigatedUtilise ARM (Active Risk Manager) to manage and report risk data across projectsFacilitate risk workshops with multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partnersProvide clear, concise risk reporting and dashboards for senior leadership and client stakeholdersPresent risk positions, trends, and mitigation strategies to senior management and governance boardsEnsure alignment with enterprise risk frameworks and governance requirementsDrive continuous improvement in risk management processes and toolsKey RequirementsProven experience working as a Risk Engineer within the UK rail sector.
