Risk Assessor / Technical Coordinator Location: Aberdeen Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role We are looking for an experienced Risk Assessor / Technical Coordinator to support the Technical Manager with water management, Legionella risk assessments, technical compliance and client support. This is a varied role combining hands-on technical work, report writing, quality assurance, client liaison and training. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of water hygiene legislation and be confident providing technical advice to clients. Key Responsibilities Carry out and review water management and Legionella risk assessments. Work in line with relevant HSG guidance, ACOP L8 and applicable legislation. Assess water systems, including treatment, storage and supply, identifying potential contamination risks. Produce accurate risk assessment reports with clear recommendations and remedial actions. Prepare and review water management policies, technical procedures, maintenance schedules and manuals. Support internal, external and client audits, maintaining accurate records and documentation. Assist with technical investigations, non-conformances and client complaints. Provide technical support to clients and help define appropriate scopes of work. Prepare technical information for quotations, tenders and proposals. Liaise with laboratories and suppliers regarding sampling requirements and turnaround times.
