We provide expert Commercial, Finance, Banking, Risk, Control, Financial Accounting and Internal Audit services, enabling the department to deliver its priorities with confidence.Across HMRC, we provide the foundations that support revenue collection, benefit delivery, supplier payments and the management of public funds, ensuring strong financial stewardship and robust governance. We are central to both the day-to-day running of the department and the delivery of HMRC''s future ambitions, helping to set direction, drive continuous improvement and support transformational change.The Risk, Control and Financial Accounting (RCFA) Directorate is part of the CFO Group and comprises around 350 colleagues located across multiple sites. RCFA is responsible for financial accounting, governance, risk management, assurance, internal controls, fraud prevention, finance systems, accreditation, finance data and finance processes across HMRC.
