This position can be based in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is more than a people-management role. You''ll be a trusted point of reference for the wider business, combining strong technical knowledge with the leadership skills to develop a high-performing team and make sound, commercially aware decisions. What you''ll be doing: •Lead, coach and develop a team of Risk and Compliance professionals. •Oversee day-to-day risk and compliance activities, ensuring work is delivered accurately, consistently and on time. •Provide advice and challenge to colleagues and stakeholders on risk and regulatory matters. •Oversee and/or advise on AML, KYC/CDD and conflict of interest processes. •Identify, assess and escalate potential compliance and reputational risks. •Support the development and continuous improvement of policies, procedures and controls. •Monitor regulatory developments and help translate changing requirements into practical business processes. •Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and operational teams to embed a strong culture of risk awareness. •Contribute to projects, audits and wider risk initiatives across the business.
