Risk and Compliance Manager

With significant changes on the horizon for law firms in terms of the SRA and compliance this national law firm is looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager to be at the forefront of the firms compliance and risk operation. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance whilst working closely with operational functions within the business including audit, data protection, supply chain, quality management and operational risk. This role is a key position within the business providing expert guidance on all core risk and compliance matters, overseeing key risk management processes and partnering with stakeholders across the firm to drive a strong culture of compliance, continuous improvement and effective risk management. The role will support the firm''s strategic objectives through the identification, assessment and management of regulatory, operational and professional risks while ensuring consistent quality standards and regulatory compliance. To succeed in this role you will already have gained significant experience working within a regulated environment, preferably within a legal or professional services environment, with strong and demonstrable experience and knowledge of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Regulations and Codes of Conduct. ..... full job details .....
