As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Risk and Compliance Assistant to support our compliance function.The Role:As a Risk and Compliance Assistant, you will play a key supporting role in ensuring the firm adheres to all regulatory and legal requirements. Working closely with senior compliance professionals, you will assist in maintaining effective risk management processes and promoting a culture of compliance across the firm.Key Responsibilities: Assisting with the monitoring of compliance with SRA regulations and internal policiesSupporting file reviews and internal compliance auditsCarrying out AML, KYC, and client due diligence checksAssisting with conflict checks and onboarding processesMaintaining accurate compliance records and registersSupporting the investigation of compliance breaches and incidentsAssisting in the preparation of compliance reportsActing as a first point of contact for basic compliance queries Requirements: Previous experience in a compliance, legal administration, or risk-based role within a law firm (preferred)Understanding of SRA regulations and legal compliance frameworksFamiliarity with AML and GDPR requirementsStrong ..... full job details .....
