Risk and Assurance Manager

Responsibilities Risk Management Develop and manage Citizen''s approach to risk management and associated framework in conjunction with external professional advisers as appropriate. Keep up to date on emerging new risks, provide horizon scanning workshops and briefings for senior managers, Board and Committee members with appropriate mechanisms in place to continue to identify new risks. Manage a programme of strategic and operational risk register reviews, ensuring Citizen''s risks continue to reflect the internal and external operating environment and facilitating operational level risk workshops with Directors and Managers. Support the annual review of risk appetite, preparing materials for Board and Committee members and supporting the facilitation of the discussions, implementing mechanisms to ensure the appetite is embedded across the risk framework and is operationalised. Support the facilitation of Strategic Risk Assessments with ELT, providing the necessary operational insight and risk expertise to enable accurate assessments of risk. Coordinate the updating and assessment of Citizen''s operational risk registers to reflect latest exposure, including supporting and advising risk owners and champions on risk and control matters in line with Citizen''s Risk Management Framework. ..... full job details .....
