Risak, Insurance and Compliance Officer

Brief role description: We are looking for a Risk, Insurance and Compliance Officer to join our Legal and Governance team and play an important role in supporting parkrun''s approach to risk, insurance and compliance. The role will have lead responsibility for managing parkrun''s insurance portfolio, including working with brokers, insurers and other advisers, overseeing renewals and claims, ensuring appropriate cover is maintained, and providing advice and guidance on insurance and related risk matters. Alongside this, the role will support the development and embedding of parkrun''s approach to risk management, working with teams to establish practical and proportionate processes and controls. The role will also provide broader compliance support to the Legal and Governance team, including policies, processes and relevant areas of organisational risk such as information security, cyber security and data protection. This is a varied role for someone with practical experience in insurance and risk, excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently across a broad range of compliance matters. You will be expected to take ownership of your areas of responsibility, work collaboratively across the organisation and provide practical, proportionate advice.
