Rigger - Hinkley Point C

Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset

Rate: -40 per hour

Hours: 10-hour shifts

Rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off

Role Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Riggers to join works at Hinkley Point C. This role involves supporting lifting operations and ensuring all rigging activities are carried out safely and efficiently on a major infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and install rigging equipment for lifting operations
• Attach loads to cranes using appropriate lifting gear
• Inspect and maintain lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Communicate effectively with crane operators and site teams
• Ensure all lifts are carried out in accordance with lift plans and risk assessments
• Follow strict health & safety procedures on site

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Rigging or Lifting Operations (Essential)
• Valid Rigger / Slinger Signaller certification (e.g., CPCS or NPORS)
• Previous experience on large construction or infrastructure projects (preferably nuclear or heavy industry)
• Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety regulations
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high-safety environment
• Right to work in the UK
• CCNSG
