      <description>Location: Barnsley | Salary: 13.08-13.08 Hourly | Type: Temporary | Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for a Stable Assistant/Riding Groom to work within the South Yorkshire Police ForceLocation: Cudworth, BarnsleyHours: Shift pattern over 7 days, working hours between 7am - 7 pm including Saturdays.Rate:  13.08 per hour plus Shift Allwance Contract: Temporary until at least July 2027 Please note this role will subject to Police Vetting you will need to have resided within the UK for minimum of 3 years Role Purpose:To ensure stable cover for the Horses at Ring Farm mounted section.Main Duties and Responsibilities: (maximum of 12 - 14 key statements points)Proven Experience of working around horses.Recent or relevant experience in this roleA strong interest and enthusiasm for horses and their welfareHolding a full, valid and clean driving license and access to own vehicleGood fitness and healthBeing capable of hard physical workPrepare and clean stable accommodation, yards and surrounding areas for Police Horses.Help maintain the fitness and wellbeing of Police Horses by providing appropriate feed stuffs, grooming services and equine first aid as instructed.Assist with the exercising of Police Horses on the Horse Walker.Assist Police Officers in th...</description>
