Ride-On Mower Operatives £15.50 per hour Location: Hammersmith, London 35 hours per week Monday to Friday Our horticultural client provides a full range of grounds maintenance services to the public and private sector. They are looking for Ride-On Mower Operatives who hold a full, manual driving licence and who have experience. Working alongside colleagues, you will help deliver grounds maintenance services to residential areas and public parks. Previous experience is essential. This is a full time job which begins on a temporary contract but will lead to securing a permanent one for the right people. To undertake the full range of grounds maintenance duties as instructed by your line manager as follows: grass cutting, watering of trees, shrubs, and bedding plants. Hedge cutting, strimming, edge reformation. Litter picking and weed control. To work as part of a team with the aim of ensuring productive and professional relationships within your team, with other employees, managers, clients, and the general public. Ensure hand/power tools and grounds maintenance equipment, machinery and vehicles in your charge are secure, in good working order, carry out routine maintenance and refer mechanical problems to your line manager. Comply with all company and site procedures and regulations. Ensure an efficient and effective response to incidents/emergencies and maintain effective liaison with colleagues and external services.
