The primary purpose of the post is to provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to functions within Research and Innovation including: supporting research study set-up and delivery, supporting events management, monitoring finance, rostering and training systems, and general administrative and secretarial tasks. This role will be based in the Research and Innovation offices at Central Park Hub, Newton Heath.Main duties of the job

Internal and external liaison with individuals and teams across the Trust and more widely.Providing administrative support for events and publicity.Carrying out a range of admin tasks to support the effective delivery of clinical trials, including data entry.Supporting financial tasks, including requisitions, invoice confirmation and petty cash.About us

Qualifications

Competency-based level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. NVQ, RSA) or equivalent experienceEducated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including in English and MathsExperience

Experience working in an administrative roleExperience of planning and completing work in a systematic, efficient and timely manner to meet deadlinesExperience of Microsoft office packages and working with files and foldersExperience of taking minutesExperience of supporting eventsExperience using basic financial monitoring systemsExperience of working in the NHSExperience of working within a mental health settingKnowledge

Knowledge of national guidance and policies relating to research governance, data protection and confidentialityKnowledge of recruitment to research studiesKnowledge and understanding of regulations relevant to researchKnowledge of procurement proceduresSkills
