RGN) Registered Home Manager

Stephen James Consulting are partnering with an established "Not for Profit " elderly care provider, in their search for a (RGN) Registered Home Manager. This pivotal role will be accountable for a managing a 40 bedded care home based in York. This purpose-built home forms an integral part of the community, benefiting from generous living areas, excellent communal facilities that include, arts and craft, gym and spa pool. The care and support are provided by a dedicated team on qualified nurses and carers. Key responsibilities include: To handle, develop and evaluate all aspects of service provision in the service, within policy guidelines ensure that all important legislation, organisational Policies and Procedures and codes of practice are adhered to. To be responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, mentoring, example, support and mentorship. Establish and maintain in the home the atmosphere and practice of care based on the values of the provider, deriving from a concern for the individual and mutual respect between residents and staff. To be Shortlisted for this key role of (RGN) Registered Home Manager you will need the following experience: Hold a clinical qualification (RGN / RMN or RNLD) significant experience in leading multiple healthcare teams, within nursing care home environments.
