Rework Team Leader

Quality Control Team Leader Sunderland Up to £33,748 (inclusive of shift allowance) 2 shifts Permanent An automotive manufacturing business based in Sunderland, are looking for an experienced Quality Control Team Leader join their production department. The ideal candidate will have experience of reworking products within a busy fast-paced manufacturing environment. Role and Responsibilities Lead a team of Quality Inspectors and be responsible for their performance, safety, training, and time sheets. Working closely with Production Supervisors to plan and monitor all quality issues. Planning equipment, material, and manpower requirements to meet production schedule. Deliver daily team briefs on production figures and carry out regular appraisals. Generating reports on quality issues. Knowledge and Experience Previous experience of Quality inspection of components. The ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team. Must be prepared to work shifts and overtime when required by the business.
