Revit Technician
Due to the continued expansion of our highly successful specialised engineering company, including our award-winning data centre design and build business, we have an exciting career opportunity for an enthusiastic Revit Technician.
The BIM Technician will support the development, coordination, and delivery of multi-disciplinary digital construction data. The primary focus is compiling technical details from design teams, architects, and engineers into a single, comprehensive building information model. This data ensures the structure is buildable and can be maintained throughout its lifecycle.
Based in our Chadderton office, the Revit Technician will be a key member of our CAD team.

Modelling & Documentation
- Create 3D Models: Build detailed 3D models for specific design disciplines (Architectural, Structural, or MEP) using advanced authoring software;
- Produce 2D Drawings: Extract and refine accurate 2D layouts, schematics, elevations, and schedules directly from the 3D model environment;
- Maintain Quality Control: Ensure all virtual assets comply with the project-specific BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and internal standard operating procedures;
- Manage Version Control: Track design changes and maintain accurate model revision history across live project environments.
Coordination & Collaboration
- Perform Clash Detection: Identify spatial conflicts between architectural, structural, and mechanical/plumbing elements;
- Consolidate Data: Extract take-offs and compile multiple external vendor drawings into a unified central master model;
- Team Communication: Participate in weekly coordination meetings to action design changes and troubleshoot technical problems.
Content Library Management
- Develop Custom Families: Create and manage dynamic content blocks, Revit Families, and parametric data templates;
- Integrate Information: Embed manufacturer data into the model to support downstream processes like asset data tracking and facility maintenance.
Technical Skills
- Software Mastery: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and associated design tools. Experience using Autodesk Forma and Cloud Shared models to work collaboratively with the Design teams;
- Standards Awareness: Solid understanding of ISO 19650 standards and generic BIM processes;
