An established and forward-thinking Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Revit Technician to join its growing Manchester team.
The consultancy delivers projects nationwide, ranging from major new-build developments through to complex refurbishment and renovation schemes, working across residential, commercial, leisure, education, industrial and other specialist sectors.
The Role
Working alongside Structural Engineers and the wider technical team, you will play a key role in producing and coordinating high-quality structural Revit models and technical drawings across a varied project portfolio.
Responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate structural models and drawings using Revit
- Working across projects from design development through to construction
- Coordinating structural information with engineers and other disciplines
- Producing clear, technically accurate construction information
- Supporting BIM coordination and maintaining modelling standards
- Working closely with engineers, architects and other project stakeholders
- Previous experience working as a Structural Revit Technician / BIM Technician
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
- Experience producing structural drawings and models within a consultancy environment
- Good understanding of building structures and construction detailing
- Strong technical coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider design team
- Salary up to £50,000, dependent on experience
