Revit Technician - Building Services Consultancy

Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Revit Technician to join a well-established Building Services Consultancy, based in Leeds.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing Revit MEP skills while working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary design environment. You will be supported throughout your professional development and have the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects and sectors.
The Role
You will provide technical support as part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Building Services Designers, Building Physicists and Document Controllers, delivering projects from feasibility through to detailed and fully coordinated design across RIBA Stages 0-5.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Building Services Engineers to produce coordinated drawings
- Support the delivery of projects within a multi-disciplinary team
- Coordinate Building Services using Revit MEP
- Create and amend MEP families, objects, tags and annotations
- Create legends, schedules and templates
- Amend drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Deliver project requirements within agreed timescales
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry, regulatory and design standards
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff and apprentices
- Follow BIM protocols and project standards
- Liaise professionally with clients, professional teams, contractors and colleagues at all levels
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Previous experience within the MEP / Building Services industry or a similar technical role
- A strong eye for detail and accuracy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to use initiative and prioritise workload effectively
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- An ONC/HNC or relevant technical qualification would be advantageous
