Our client is an Independent Security Systems Integrator, with expertise delivering security solutions for high-security, public space, transport, and infrastructure projectsJob DescriptionThe Revit/CAD Technician will be responsible for generating/modifying technical 2D surface and 3D solid drawings revolving around physical security solutions for our clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the Security Solutions Architects and Technical Designers within the design team transforming client blueprints, design plans and gathered information into computer generated drawings using CAD and Revit software. The Revit/CAD Technician will operate in the Technical team, reporting to the Lead Security Solutions Architect. The principal responsibility of the technical team is to ensure a high quality of technical and commercial input during the bidding process and the smooth transition from design to project delivery.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrawing layouts, schematics and/or plans for physical security systems around sites.Meeting with engineers, subcontractors, and designers to review blueprints and design drawings.Work with project delivery teams in ensuring red line documentation is updated and issued to as-installed status.Utilise Revit MEP for modelling system architecture.Generate and/or manage BIM models whilst owning production and evolution of our BIM object library to level 2.Reviewing CAD drawings and models with clients, making adjustments where ..... full job details .....
