Bromley Council is seeking an experienced Reviews Officer to lead on statutory housing reviews, ensuring legally robust decision-making in line with the Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, statutory guidance and case law. This is a specialist role requiring significant experience in homelessness legislation and statutory reviews. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage complex cases, produce defensible decisions, and support the wider housing service through expert guidance and training. Key Responsibilities Conduct and determine complex statutory reviews under Parts VI and VII of the Housing Act 1996. Investigate cases, assess evidence and issue legally compliant review decisions within statutory timescales.
