Highlights:
- Administer Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit claims accurately and within targeted timescales
- Work as part of a dedicated team, providing exceptional customer service
- Contribute to the Council''s vision, values, and behaviours
- Responsible for processing all claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit in accordance with Government legislation, case law, and local policy
- Ensure claims are processed accurately and within the targeted timescales
- Deliver excellent customer service at the first point of contact, in line with the Council''s vision, values, and behaviours
- Contribute to meeting the Welfare & Benefits Service objectives and applicable Customer Service targets
- Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English
