Overview
Your mission:The Revenue Manager role is responsible for maximising hotel revenue through effective pricing strategies, inventory control, and channel distribution management. Analyse market trends, forecasting demand, optimising rates and availability, and managing relationships with OTAs, GDS platforms, and direct booking channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry''s digital and distribution landscape.Responsibilities
Develop and implement revenue strategies in line with hotel strategy. Create and execute strategies to optimize RevPAR, ADR and occupancy rate across all market segments and channels.Pricing and yield management:
Establish and adjust dynamic pricing based on demand, seasonality, competitor activities, and market trends. Implement yield management techniques to manage room inventory and restrictions to maximize revenue potential.Market analysis and forecasting:
Analyse historical data, market trends, and booking patterns to forecast demand and predict future revenue performance.Distribution channel management:
Oversee and optimize the hotel''s presence across various distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, direct bookings, and corporate accounts, ensuring rate parity and maximum visibility.Performance monitoring and reporting:
Regularly monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) like RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy to assess and report on the hotel''s performance. Provide regular reports and insights to the senior team on revenue performance and strategic recommendations.Collaboration:
Work closely with on property sales, marketing, operations, reservations and finance teams to align revenue strategies with the overall business objectives and enhance guest experiences.Qualifications
Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United Kingdom.3+ years of experience in hotel revenue management; knowledge and understanding of the local market or luxury lifestyle property would be advantageous.Strong technical understanding and experience of hotel distribution systems and tools - PMS, RMS, CRS, and OTAs.Experience and knowledge of IDeaS G3 is essentialExperience of SynXis HMS Infor would be desirableStrong communication skills for collaborating with departments and presenting information to senior stakeholders within the property and at the home office.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillset to interpret data, analyse market trends, forecast demand, and translate findings into strategic actions that support revenue growth and business challengesPackage and Benefits
