We are currently recruiting for a Returns Administrator to join a busy and supportive warehouse team based in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience within a warehouse or logistics environment who is looking for a long-term role with real responsibility.
Duties of a Returns Administrator
You will be working as part of the Warehouse/Logistics Team and will be responsible for:
- Processing and recording customer returns accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Updating internal systems, spreadsheets, and databases to ensure all information is correct and up to date.
- Working closely with the warehouse team to support day-to-day operations and ensure deadlines are met.
- Handling paperwork and documentation efficiently and in an organised manner.
- Responding to queries and liaising with colleagues to resolve any issues promptly.
Skills and experience of a Returns Administrator
As a Returns Administrator, you will need to have experience with:
- Previous experience in a warehouse administration role.
- A keen eye for detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with MS Office and warehouse systems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with the flexibility to support warehouse operations when required.
It would be beneficial to the Returns Administrator role if you also had:
- Experience with stock management systems or warehouse software.
- Previous exposure to retail returns or logistics processes.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Experience generating reports or maintaining KPI records.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong computer skills.
