Retail Travel and Customer Contact Centre ManagerBase Salary to £55,000 + Bonuses OTE £70,000Guildford, SurreyOur client are a leading luxury travel company who are growing rapidly. They are now recruiting for an experienced Retail Travel and Customer Centre Manager to lead their store and small contact centre team based in Guildford.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage the day-to-day operations of the retail travel store, drive sales performance, coach and develop your team, and ensure a high standard of customer service as well as leading the UK contact centre.Candidates must have previous travel management experience to be considered with a proven track record in business performance management.

Responsibilities

Oversee all daily operations of the travel retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

Set, monitor, and drive sales targets for the store and individual team members.

Identify and capitalise on opportunities, taking full accountability for store PandL, managing budgets, margins, and cost controls, ensuring delivery of sales and customer KPIs.

Analyse performance reports and implement strategies to maximise profitability and efficiency.

Lead from the front by servicing walk-in customers and handling phone/web enquiries as needed.

Experience / Qualifications

Proven experience in the travel industry, ideally in a management or senior sales role.

Strong understanding of retail travel operations, sales performance, and PandL accountability.

Excellent leadership and coaching skills with a passion for team development.

Commercially aware with the ability to drive results and business growth.

Salary and BenefitsBase Salary from £45,000 - £55,000 based on experience
