Retail Stock Operative

The Best Connection are proudly seeking Retail Stock Operatives for an on-going temporary assignment at our world-renowned client in Knightsbridge, London.This role will be working in a luxury department store, and assisting with the merchandising and distribution of garments for retail. Responsibilities of the Stock Operative will include but not be limited to:Helping to take in and sort incoming deliveriesRe-stocking shelves in the storeChecking stock matches delivery formsQuantity and basic quality checking of incoming and outgoing deliveriesManually handling stockRequirements of the Stock Operative:Ability to travel to the Knightsbridge area of central London independentlyAbility to work as part of a team and following instructionGood attention to detailGood level of numeracy and literacyGood work ethicsAble to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment Rates of pay: 13.50 per hour rising to 13.90 per hour after 12 weeks of continuous serviceOvertime rate: 20.25- 20.78 per hour after 37.5 weekly hours worked.Hours of work:Shifts operate on a rota basis, with any 5 days in a 7-day week being offeredShift times can be 7:30am to 4pm, 8am to 4:30pm, and 12:30pm to 9pm Additional Benefits:Ongoing assignmentsOnline payslipsWeekly pay Pension provisionHoliday pay (28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE) ..... full job details .....
