Retail Displays - Project Manager / CAD

About youYou''re someone who enjoys the design side of a project just as much as seeing the finished product come together.We''re looking for a Project Manager with strong CAD design skills to join a business specialising in bespoke retail displays, commercial furniture and shopfitting equipment.CAD is a big part of this role, so you''ll need to be confident producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, taking customer ideas and turning them into practical designs that can be manufactured.You''ll also be comfortable managing projects, speaking with customers and suppliers, and keeping everything moving from the initial brief through to delivery.Your experienceIdeally, you''ll have worked within retail displays, shopfitting, bespoke furniture, POS or a similar manufacturing environment.You''ll understand how products are put together, particularly when it comes to metalwork, joinery and fabrication. It''s important that you can design something that not only looks good but can actually be manufactured efficiently.You''ll need strong CAD experience, including producing technical manufacturing drawings, alongside the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate confidently with customers and production teams.Experience with signage, illuminated displays or overseas manufacturers would be useful, but isn''t essential.What you''ll be doingYou''ll be involved in projects from the very beginning, working with customers to understand what they need, producing CAD drawings and ..... full job details .....
